I set myself a water challenge and decided to paint favourite places for our family:
Point Yacht Club in Durban, Ballito Beach up the North Coast, Llandudno Beach in Cape Town, and a set of Hout Bay paintings. You can smell the sea, you can smell the fish and chips!
As a South African Artist, I was so blessed to live in the beautiful city of Durban just 14 kilometers from where my Emma Jacobs Art Gallery was at Westville B&B. The beautiful North Coast and South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal are key Tourist attractions for both domestic and international visitors, wanting to come on holiday to South Africa. Having studied at the University of Cape Town, Cape Town and surrounds are some on my favourite places to visit, with the majestic beauty of Table Mountain, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Hout Bay and the beautiful Cape of Good Hope. Painting these happy memories, keeps them alive forever!
Now I get to explore the splendour that is Ireland. Exploring our new country since we arrived in June 2021 has been an incredible journey both literally and figuratively! Cork and West Cork, have so many beautiful beaches along the Wild Atlantic Way. Inspiration all around!
