I am so privileged to be asked to paint so many special paintings. The majority of commissions
that I have been asked to do have been portraits. It all started with a Los
Angeles Lawyer who stayed in our Westville B&B in Durban. He commissioned
me to do his portrait and I shipped it all the way from South Africa to him in
LA.

Since then, I have painted grandchildren, friends, pets, families, memorial
portraits, rave scenes (yes!), engagement portraits, 50th birthday gifts,
wedding anniversary paintings, … all wonderful memories that mean so much to
each of my clients. I have been blessed with many international clients and now
have Emma Jacobs Art portraits all over the world. including Ghana, Australia,
Spain, Canada, The Caribbean, South Africa, The UK, Mauritius, and Ireland. The
kick I get out of the journey with each client, is indescribable. The look of
their faces when they receive their painting is priceless!

Knowing that my art is interwoven into people’s lives and homes, is truly
very special and is the very joy of doing Art commissions.
