Bantry Protest Day Boats

Description

In August 2021, my son and I drove through to Bantry to join my cousins for lunch on the square. This visit coincided with a protest rally and march which  took place over the closing of the Acute Medical Assessment Unit at Bantry General Hospital. I took this reference photo close to where we parked the car, and knew that this would be the first Irish scene I painted!
